Attention Shoppers....

Cat in Aisle 6! 

I finally got around to doing all those errands I had to postpone yesterday, and one was to the local Pet store to get Maggie a bag of litter.
This chain of pet stores also takes cats from rescue centres and offers them for adoption. 

While awaiting a new home, the cats are allowed to wander the store, so this little fellow was not in trouble for that; the problem was that he was in the wrong aisle!  This was the DOG aisle. 
 
He caught my eye as it looked as if he was checking out the prices! (see also extra), but it seems he was just deciding which tempting snack to choose.  Apparently he likes dog food and if left there, would manage to chew his way into one of those packages! 

What a charmer... I would love to have taken him home...but alas I already have a cat and she would not take kindly to a room-mate!  

The other errands were much less interesting, but at least I now have a good supply of cat food, cat litter and fresh produce .The fridge was quite bare when I returned home from my daughter's and it was getting very difficult to put a healthy meal together without a trip to the grocery store! 

I confess to a long nap this afternoon. It had been wonderful but exhausting week and today was the first real opportunity to just relax and recover.
