Time For A Change
Seasons come and go, so in this house, the quilts do too.
Taking down the Easter quilt was about the only thing of interest that happened between watching the funeral of Pope Francis (which I had recorded overnight) and watching the hockey game tonight!
The Maple Leafs could have won this first round by a sweep of 4 games straight, but alas, the Senators found their mojo and won it in overtime; hence - another game Tuesday night.
With all that excitement of overtime, I never did get around to hanging up a replacement quilt...until I couldn't sleep.
Sometime in the wee hours of the night, after tossing and turning for way too long, I got up, pulled this quilt off the shelf, took it downstairs and hung it up. On a step ladder. In the night. By myself. When sort of sleepy. Not a smart move! I reprimanded myself before going back to bed, and promised myself I will not do that again. But there it is. On the wall.
Next time, I will grab a novel rather than a quilt!
