Leaving

Time to leave Cornwall. It’s been a very good ten days. I was last here I think thirty or so years ago, I will have to return a little sooner than that. This latest accommodation - a listed mill, although the water wheel has seen better days - has worked well. The dogs settled in immediately.

I am a little trepidatious about the long journey home, but it’s OK. I stop at WWT Slimbridge on the way (which is half way) and whilst the second part of the journey is a bit of a struggle - I make it. Just.
