Flashy Dandelion Seedhead
I love the fine structures of these dandelion ’clocks’.
Believe it or not, this photo was taken in bright sunlight this morning….but I still used the flash to light the seed head. This has highlighted a lot of the detail.
The very fast shutter speed has killed (almost) all of the ambient light..you can just make out a bit of grass in the background. I left the flash at full power (it is just a little built in pop up unit) and then adjusted the aperture until I got a nice exposure.
