Morar

A view of the famous Silver Sands. In the extra Flora enjoying some fun on the beach. She went for a swim in the River Morar. Silly dog. 

We left home about 08:30, stopped for coffee in Tyndrum then a bowl of soup and to recharge the car in Fort William. The weather was pretty miserable. However it started to clear and the temperature went up for the last leg of the journey from Fort William to Morar. Unfortunately I didn't see any of the beautiful scenery because I had a snooze. I'm annoyed with myself for missing the views of an area which I really love but on balance I think the hour's sleep was more important. 

We're only here for one night and I want to make the most of being by this amazing stretch of sand. We can see over to Rùm,  the very end of Eigg and the Sleat Peninsula on Skye, a truly gorgeous scene.
