Blooming marvellous!

Well. On a sewing course in June run by our local fabric shop. How to make 3 different zipped bags. Looking forward to it. We have to bring our own fabric and trimmings including zips. 
Sooooo I decide to get R to drive me to a fabric and haberdashery emporium on the North Wales coast. The have a brilliant selection of zips ... I said. 
What a huge disappointment. Dreadful selection of muted colours, limited lengths and basically boring zips. No funky colours, no chunky zips. Did I mention hugely disappointing. 
Dear Blipper, we were in and out within 30 minutes. Blooming marvellous! Won't be going there again any time soon. 
Blip is these wonderful pansies bought in autumn, potted up and they've valiantly kept going all through winter and have excelled themselves this spring. Blooming marvellous I say! Let's hope they keep going into the summer :)
