Mermaids Welcome!

Way back in December I was scrolling through Threads and my eyes spotted a beautiful sculpture being crafted by a very talented fibre artist Janis Ledwell-Hunt. I followed her and scoped out her website. There I browsed her shop and discovered she had made a selection of mini Mermaid wreaths. Her material is ocean waste, specifically plastic rope, heavy duty. I wanted one but discovered that she didn't ship to the UK. She is from Vancouver Island in Canada. So I contacted her and asked, and she agreed. 2 weeks later 2 days before Christmas Day, my Mermaid wreath arrived in Wales. Sadly left in it's packaging until I decided where to put it, and today was the day. The sun was shining and I knew just where to put it. So here it is, on the front wall of my house looking very inviting to passing mermaids. Check out Janis website.
