An ordinary life....

Tilly...

Early rise today.  Just as well as the doorbell rang at 8.10am and it was our plumber all set to do our annual service of the boilers and the fires.  We had no idea he was coming.  He was very confused as he had sent an email last week to confirm.  He double checked only to find he hadn't sent it.  (man after my own heart! :-)  No worries, happy for him to get on with it.

D was meeting up with golf pal Gordon at 8.30am, not for golf, but for a joint walk with Lola and Gordon's beagle Tilly.  Lola and Tilly get on very well.  In the pic Tilley had found a tennis ball and Lola was very jealous so she's having a good look for one too.

Plumber finished the service at lunch time.  Clean bill of health.

D got back and it was a quick change into golf gear as he was playing golf with pal Fraser.  I spent a lovely couple of hours in the studio painting loose landscapes on hot pressed watercolour paper.  Nothing worth blipping or framing but good fun and it planted the seeds for some future painting ideas.

D returned from golf happy that he and his new driver got on better today than yesterday.

More crocheting of baby Alfie's pram blanket then read some more of fellow blipper's book.  Gripping, harrowing, heartbreaking so far.
