Hello sunshine...

A relaxing but slightly confusing day as it's felt like Saturday.  It doesn't take much to confuse me :-))

We sat in the side garden after lunch as Niall and his dad were here putting up the new lights in the back garden to replace the ones blown down in January during storm Éowyn.  No more Narnia lights.

I had various options with me to pass the time but ended up crocheting Alfie's pram blanket.  D spent a chunk of time thinking about which golfers to chose for this week's DP World Tour Fantasy Golf team.  A very competitive hobby with his fellow golf buddies!  :-))

When the temperature dropped I came indoors and went to the study to paint a birthday card for Adrian's birthday next week and a wedding anniversary card for Laura and George.  Can't believe it's almost a year since their wedding.  

We were in the back garden admiring the new lights when we received a text from Ele saying "what's happening here?" followed by a load of photos of her dining room and kitchen with the wall separating both rooms completely removed!  

She and Kenny have talked about doing this for a while and we thought it was a great idea but they couldn't come to a decision.  Well it seems they now have!  And the space is all the better for it.  

Excited to see how it will turn out :-)
