Black-chinned hummingbird

A black-chinned hummingbird came to visit me this morning. In the sunlight they have a beautiful purple throat. Most of the time it looks black. I suppose that’s how it got its name.

It’s been a crazy day. I had an early appointment with my nephrologist. I went to get my car washed and waxed after that. Then I drove directly to another doctor appointment. Finally, at the optometrist, I had a meibo eye procedure, which is supposed to loosen the oils and gunk from the glands under the eye lids. My final task for the day was to begin writing the HOA newsletter. TBH, I didn’t get too far on that. It seems to be feast or famine when it comes to things on my calendar. Catching the hummingbird before I left this morning was a gift to start the day.

Dang. I just remembered that I wanted to do Mono Monday. I can never remember Mondays
