Life of a bubble maker

Loch Tay

Bit of an earlier start as we were meeting one of J’s hooping friends at the bottom of Loch Tay to see if we could go canoeing with the dogs. Her husband is an outdoors instructor and was up doing for kayak training yesterday. Managed to get out on the loch with no real issues until Darwin decided to jump in after about 10 minutes, we managed to get him back in the canoe without capsizing and paddled over to the Crannog center for a cup of coffee. Darwin did really well as J’s friend also had their spaniel with them. The wind picked up when we left so the kayaks were rafted together and a small sail put up for the journey back. Stopped off at Priory island and saw evidence of the beavers in the lake. Dogs had a run on the beach and swim before leaving J’s friend and headed up to the Dewars distillery in Aberfeldy. Tasted a couple of drams and J bought a Craigellachie which had been matured in an Armagnac cask. Popped up to the spirit of wood shop behind the distillery and J liked to look of one of the sofa’s. Back to the campsite for dinner and watched Fast Charlie.
