Hunting high and low

Another early  wander today, before it gets too hot in the lovely sunshine!  And today I was treated to my first Cuckoo of the year, alongside watching this lovely barn owl hunting across the scrubland.  It was a fair way off so I'm just impressed my little camera managed any kind of shot! My point, click and hope style of photography worked out ok haha!

Spotted the first dragonflies of 2025 as well, alongside a good number of Wall Brown butterflies so it's a promising start for butterflies this year!
