Blooming

This glowering quince grows, espalier - style, on the north- facing wall of our house. It’s very happy there, and this year the blossom looks better than ever before.

It has been a warm and sunny day, so we were able to sit out for our morning coffee (and a listen to “The Rest is History” all about ‘The Tale of Genji’). I dried some washing, too. It was too hot to take the dogs up to the forest but they enjoyed being out in rhe garden for most of the day, and so did I.
