Coming to life
What a glorious day today! Warm and sunny and no wind.
My day started early, I had to go to the GP for 9.40 for a fasting blood test so nothing except black tea or water after midnight. Seeing as how one ATM was already puncture I went to the Gyle and had my Shingles jab in the other arm! My appointment has been arranged for when I was in India so I cancelled and they said just to turn up when it was convenient. I almost got a COVID booster but accident instead as the person hadn't heard the instruction clearly.
My next stop was Costa for some substenance.
Back home I went into the garden and removed a very woody lavender. I planned to replace it with one I bought yesterday, but discovered that the original had already played rooted in a couple of places so I'll need to find another place for the new one.
My blip is our Clematis, both Montana and Montana Rubens, almost (but not quite) as good as the best clematis in the New Town!
The thumbnail is my blueberry which has lots of fruit setting, there is a Bay and a black currant just behind it.
This afternoon I was in the charity shop and managed not to buy. Sadly a family came in and left with several things they had not paid for, including two bags which they used to carry the stuff in. It's very hard to deal with such situations. I'm glad I wasn't the person in charge.
