Brilliant weather

The rosa rugosa hedge at the old people’s flats by the shops was looking good today, but this bumblebee was the only one I saw among many flowers. It looks as though this year might be as disastrous for bumblebees as last year was.
On the bright side, I did see a goldfinch hiding among the apple tree leaves ( extra ).
