Casting a shadow .....

I slept well last night at HazelH and MrHazelH's and enjoyed a leisurely breakfast with them and fellow guest LM.

The way that the light caught this posy on my beside table and the shadows it was casting caught my eye when I was getting ready to leave.

I had a good bus journey back - a lady sat beside me at Halbeath and started chatting. She was remarkably positive and determined to live life to the full despite losing her husband just after she retired, having a both hips replaced, bowel surgery and now diminishing eyesight due to macular degeneration.  I really enjoyed chatting with her and felt quite inspired by her outlook.  I hope she enjoyed her day in Pitlochry.

With assessments looming, my classmates and I had arranged an informal practice session this evening. In the end very little Gaelic was spoke - instead we chatted about learning, the things we were finding difficult and so on. It was really helpful and good to know we are all finding challenges with the conditional tense.

It's been a great start to the week.
