Another blipping flower! A beautiful day, clear skies, sunny with a cooling breeze. On one level is lovely yet on another it seems to be wrong for the time of year. Barbara and David travelled to Edinburgh today, leaving here around 10am and getting home at 8pm

Another trip to the top with garden waste today, stopping off in town on the way back to buy more stuff for the flat. While Susan did the final cleaning touches to her mum’s house I tried out the airbed we’re using in the flat. It works well, especially with a mattress topper.

We’re gradually collecting stuff together, adding items to an ever growing pile to fit into the car on Sunday morning. With the sale of both houses to manage and decluttering our place we shall be travelling between Cumbria and Kent each month until both properties are sold.

We managed a walk this afternoon and I managed a crawl afterwards. A more relaxed evening what’s left of it.
