Harlech Castle

We had a bit of a long drive, to Harlech Castle. It’s on the coast, and stands high looking out towards Ireland. The admission allowed dogs in so we all had a wander around, up the towers and around the walls. It’s amazing to think that Edward the first stood on those very same stones, 800 years ago
Then a delicious ice cream and we took Bonnie to the beach. That is quite outstanding, it must be half a mile long and almost nobody there, and the most lovely fine sand. This time, Bonnie couldn’t wait to get out to the sea, and she had a great gallop about and did some happy paddling.
The temperature got up to 25C! So we had to leave after a sandwich and a sit, as we had no shade and the sand was extremely hot.
It was a lovely relaxing day!
