Common merganser

Two of the workers were off sick today and of course we were working on one of the bigger properties. We didn't get everything finished, so we will go back either Thursday or Friday to get things ready for when the owner returns from Florida on the weekend.
I had to be finished at 2:30 today so I would have time to get home, change, have something to eat before going to Lawrencetown to do a couple of quotes, the first was booked for 4:30. The first one was with an existing customer, she wanted to meet with me to develop a plan for the work we will be doing later in May. The second one was with a new customer, a neighbor of the first one. It will be an ongoing project over the next few years with regular maintenance included.
Plus, with the 4 quotes I sent out last night, I have the go ahead for 2 of them. 
On the way home from meeting the customers, I spotted a blue heron and a couple of common mergansers in a marsh. I pulled to the side of the road so I could get some photos. The blue heron refused to stay for a quick photo shoot, he flew away. I did get a few photos of the mergansers.
