Bird Invasion

There seemed to be thousands of wee birds in the garden , lots of juvenile robins as well as sparrows, blue tits , great tits and chaffinches.

A tiny wee robin followed me around as i weeded the flower beds and the heather beds which were beginning to look lie an Amazon rainforest. The robin settled on the wheel of the wheelbarrow and watched me weeding then it came over and rooted around the flower beds where I had been working.

I did blip the robin but it was this one with the baby blue tit in the bush. No idea how the background came out so black , this is it straight from the camera, resized and converted from RAW, no adjustments at all . I quite liked the effect of the twigs against the black background.

All packed and ready for the off tomorrow, heading out early to drive dow The Rest and Be Thankful and over to Stirling ara to meet up with our daughter and grandsons. She will be driving John, myself and the two teenage grandsons to Glasgow central to board the train for our great Wembley Adventure, hope it is as memorable for the boys as were our trips to the home internationals in the 70s and 80s.

Large is rather sweet if you have time.

Will catch up when we get back on Friday.
