The temperatures are
rising as we inch towards
the days of summer

I was up before 6 but not feeling all that energetic after my long day yesterday. I texted to my painting buddy M to ask if I could drop off some asparagus to her. She answered that she was not quite awake yet. So, I said I head out to Tranquille first, then catch her on my way back.

I got a shot of the wetlands pond with the farm in reflection. No special visitors on the pond this morning so I drove to the end of the road to check on the osprey. I found one perched near the nest on the ugly electrical equipment. I had a look back to my mountains, then I headed off for a visit with M. 

Her yard always fascinates me. The birds love it and bop in and out of it while I'm there. The yard is full of bird music. 

M and I had a lovely chat about art and other wonderful and interesting things. She has horses for neighbours so I try to catch at least one. M paints every day and her house is like an art gallery. 

I'm home and back to some paperwork this morning. I hope for a free and relaxing afternoon.
