The Cascade

Easter Monday brings another day off. I had quite a slow start to the day with a wee walk to get myself going, a few chores, and many loads of washing. Late morning I got myself out for a lovely run in the sun. It was my first run for a while, but I did it. My hip held out, and my lingering cough didn’t hold me back.

I had a late lunch and then headed out for a wee river walk. The sun had disappeared, but it was still a pleasant day. I came home via the supermarket where I picked up some stuff for tea. My next job was to cook tea! I made a couple of curries, one with prawns, and the other vegetables. Both turned out well, and there’s lots left over for another night, which is always. Good result. Later there was some TV, and thoughts of work tomorrow.
