Halo

another summery day so, after a morning of household tasks, took ourselves out with our picnic chairs and books to enjoy the rest of the day.

Heading for Harperrig reservoir, we noticed a sundog...looked for its counterpart then realised it was developing into a sun halo. I took many photos as we drove, opening the window for a clear view. After parking I tried again but at no time did a clear, entire halo develop.

This is about the best of the bunch.
