In the tree

A flying visit to Granny and Grandpa with the youngest while the eldest was busy with maths and English tutor. Husband scooped both boys up to take them swimming. Youngest explored the tree in Granny and Granoa's garden whilst we were there.

Drama of the day is the eldest who was helping cook before bed and took a pan out of the oven without thinking. He has a nasty burn on his thumb and a smaller one on his finger. Pretty extreme way of getting out of writing anything at school! The brave boy has barely cried although clearly in a lot of pain. He is asleep on me, which h is unusual for him and sure sign of needing love. 

Hot day, tomorrow due to be hotter!
