After the power cut : Katy Melua.

The opening night of The Cheltenham Jazz Festival. We came to the big top in Imperial Gardens to listen to Katy Melua.

My photo shows Katy and her excellent band after a show stopping power outage almost at the end of the concert. We all waited for the reappearance and the finale but sadly it was not to be. Note to the Jazz Festival organisers : have some battery powered megaphones to inform and support the audience?!

Earlier, on the hottest day of the year here so far, I mowed the lawn ahead of No Mow May. We also entertained our 10 year old after school. He enjoyed his ice cream and winning the scrabble game!
