Local Council Election Day

On the hottest day of the year so far we joined a steady trickle of voters at our local Polling Station. Voter turn out at these elections is always disappointing and this election sees all the national parties fielding candidates. Seats will be won or lost with very slim margins I think. We also worked in the garden and enjoyed the prolific bird song including the song thrush. I washed the car and this evening we had a short rain shower!
