In knots

I took the newest quilt to sewing group this morning.  It's nearly finished, I'm just hand quilting by knotting, and that, whilst quicker that fully quilting, still takes time.  And I have struggled to concentrate on it over the last couple of weeks - too busy with other things.

After sewing group a couple of us went for coffee and a sandwich, then I did the supermarket shopping.

And then in the evening it was band practice.

W meanwhile made pikelets and a rhubarb and apple crumble - it was too hot outside for much garden work.
