Stonechat - 46
First job today was to try and get a ticket for the Kidderminster game on Sunday. The 1300 tickets sold out within in an hour so I consider myself fortunate to get one.
This afternoon I was at Burton where I photographed the female stonechat. While I was there my colleague Mike picked up a rare bird alert for a stone curlew (bird 47) in Kelsall where I live so I called in on the way home to see if I could spot it. There were several cars and a couple of scopes pointed at it so it wasn't difficult to find. It was some distance away but at least I was able to take this record shot.
