Hellebores…

… Under the tree we affectionately call Camilla (owing to the Prince Charles clematis growing nearby).
I love them (the hellebores) they’re so ‘understated’ and somehow full of grace. (I must look up their real symbolic meaning, I’m probably quite wrong and they’re the botanical equivalent of wild gunslingers!).

We had a long day today, taking ‘thank-you’s to kind people and collecting belongings. (One of my last ‘Elderly jobs’ and it was nice to have a quiet broo in the garden on our return).

I’m looking forward to tomorrow though… Meeting my favourite person for our first get together for way too long. (Celebrating both of our birthdays. Mine was missed owing to circumstances and hers is yet to come but almost here!).
