Kirk on the canal

This afternoon’s visit was to Polwarth Church where they removed the pews around 2003. They have a permanent labyrinth installed on the floor which is increasingly used throughout the year for events - often candlelit. The congregation has a well-being focus.

Part of that includes their boat which can take 12 or so on canal trips. The Union canal borders the church and they have direct access to the water.
