More plants!
Another cool day. I'd been intending to find some bedding plants locally for the pots and troughs by the front door and on the deck, but choice is rather limited at the moment with both the local garden centre and Homebase closing.
Then MrsM said that she'd planned to go up past Appin to visit a friend so I took the opportunity to drop her off and drive the short distance back to Kinlochlaich Garden Centre, the best plant centre in the area. I promised to pick her up in an hour, but when I arrived I met Fiona, who owns the plant centre, so that took a while! Then who should walk in but Caroline, the gardener at Dunollie, so that took even longer! My Blip today is looking into the garden at Kinlochlaich.
I just had time to pick up a load of bedding plants of various kinds before going back to pick MrsM up and driving home. Great to see the verges full of bluebells and the hills alive with gorse! Then the sun stayed out for long enough to enjoy a cuppa and a book out on the deck.
