The first rose of summer.

A climber which has just opened today. I don’t remember it flowering so early before.
As you can see plenty of greenflies. Something that is loving this warm weather. The air is full of them. All over the car too.

Another pleasant day. Not quite as warm but suits me better.
A trip to the Community Diagnostic Centre in Wakefield this afternoon. Routine appointment for MrC to have his eyes scanned before his injection next Wednesday at Pinderfields Hospital. We arrived 15 mins. early but was seen to immediately.

The traffic on the M62 was very busy going there so decided to come back the old way through Dewsbury. Even busier. I wonder if it was because it is a Bank Holiday weekend.

I hope you all enjoy the weekend. Especially if you are going away on holiday. Not sure about the weather. They say it will be a lot cooler. Typical for a bank holiday.
