Handrail perching

Came across this goose perched on the handrail of one of the bridges across the lake this morning. It didn’t seem to be bothered by either me walking by or a kid on a bike who stopped to talk to him. Not sure what it was doing.

A nice chat with a supportive colleague over coffee this morning, Japanese class this afternoon, and cutting the grass when I got home. And a bank holiday weekend coming up - woohoo!
