Mise en Place

... to cook some of the lamb, raised on our Land, eating only what grows there, gifted by our friend, Jaime, and expertly butchered by Mike (don't look if you don't like to see meat, no blood though). 

Gratefuls:
- the most amazing rainbow late this afternoon, complete across the sky, getting alternately weaker and stronger as the sun came out and in, and colouring not just the air, but even the land on the hill across from us; both of us took loads of photos, but, as usual, Mike blipped before me... think I'll add one in extras anyway, for the memory; we watched for ages, rain dripping on us, it was spectacular!
- our next guests' beds all made; still lots to do, but beds made always makes me feel more relaxed
- Mike making a new chopping board, and four small ones from the old, broken one, plus collecting and installing a slab of granite to protect the gas pipe to the cooker from the wood burner
