Looking Up
Bit of a bad start to the day, when Mike strimmed a stone and shattered the back windscreen of our car. Spent the morning trying to find a solution, but even if we drove to Lisbon, no-one could fix it before we need to drive down to Faro to collect Julia and family, on Monday. So, Mike has taped plastic across the gap, and hoping it'll be OK. Thankfully, we have a roof box to put our cases in for security.
Also, getting a bit fed up with hanging out washing in the sunshine, and then it getting rained on. Wouldn't matter normally, but trying to get things sorted for the guests.
Working quite hard all day on various things, and almost dark when remembered neither of us had a photo, so Mike went outside to get the swept porch, and I looked up to our star studded ceiling, with matching fan, and fun light, which has three colours, and can be dimmed, worked from a remote.
Gratefuls:
- that looks like it isn't illegal to drive with a broken rear window
- listening to Paul practice his sermon, on a very difficult passage, which includes attempted homosexual gang rape (Genesis 19), love his deep grappling with it
- finding a way to do something for Eden that I'd imagined, hope she likes it!
