A crap photo of a bad squirrel

The story…

Several years ago Jerry built this platform bird feeder high up and with tin so the squirrels could not jump up on it. It also has a 12 inch overhang which prevented them from access when they climbed up the support pole. It worked!

In the last week we have seen a squirrel on the feeder. There was a bluebird house about 6 feet away so we thought the squirrel had learned to jump and fly! We moved it away from this location.

This morning I saw him on the feeder again. I pounded on the window and he jumped and ran. Along with his four friends on the ground. So I watched and sure enough there he was moving the tin open to squeeze out from under the platform! I went out to investigate and found the screws holding the two pieces together were gone. I got the super duper duck tape out and taped the two pieces together about 10 times. There is no way he can eat through that tape until Jerry can redo the screws.

I hate squirrels.
