Drove over to New Haven to see the outside of D’s new flat and to walk around the area a little bit. Its looks very imposing and is set in a beautiful garden, most of which belongs to her. Looking forward to seeing the inside! Had breakfast at Porto snd Fi(delicious food) and then drove to the Botanics - lovely spring flowers and the camassia were stunning. Walked from there into Stockbridge to browse the shops etc. When ww walked back to the car we realised D had a parking ticket. She had paid for parking bur possibly at the ‘wrong’ meter. The signs weren’t clear though. Hopefully her appeal will be successful. Came back home for tea and a bun snd for D to send some emails re the flat purchase, and then went over to an antiques warehouse to browse. Lots of chairs! Saw some lovely small cake plates but they were part of a much larger set snd the seller wouldn’t split them. Came back for homemade lasagne. Yummy!
