Goodbye #1

The first of two different goodbyes this week.

This afternoon a beloved member of the BATS (theatre) group was laid to rest. It was lovely to see how many from the group had turned out to join the family in paying their respects to her. Even a couple of the younger members came along too.

The funeral was everything you would expect it to be, touching, heartbreaking, sad, light and humorous.

Afterwards we headed to Carus Green Golf Club, needing some air, I popped out onto the clubhouse balcong which is from where I took this photo.

We gave her a good send-off and a promise to look after the heartbroken husband she leaves behind.
