What A Difference A Day Makes . . .
. . . Dinah Washington
We awoke to sunshine and no wind. On the way to the airport to collect TLD we saw cars lined up to board one of the ferries. After the airport we parked by the waterfront and walked to have breakfast and I took this blip. TLD and I then walked to a wool shop where we talked to the young assistant who was wearing a hand knitted fair isle vest. I have always wanted to knit something in a fair isle pattern. Today TLD chose shell pink Merino wool for me to knit a cardigan for a friends baby. It is a joy to be in a wool shop and not ordering on line.
We returned to the motel for a rest before driving to Junglerama an amusement for children where Finn was having his birthday party with his friends from day care. It is an indoor playground with a variety of climbing, jumping, slides, ball pits and almost any obstacle you can think of that can be climbed, run over, crawled under, or slid down. There was a break for food then back to the equipment and another break for birthday cake. All the small children took to it with gusto. They should sleep very well tonight. I did take photos but with other children in them I won't put them online. I will also sleep very well.
