Shade

Early delivery of groceries meant we had to get up and dressed earlier than normal, and then we did a quick house cleanup.
J&K came round for coffee as arranged. It was too hot to sit on the patio (our new umbrella having been delayed) so we went into the orchard area where there is more shade. Very pleasant.
R and I then had lunch out there and essentially rested, as she feels a bit rough. Another bug!
We then walked to Carters Corner for a get together with our old neighbours and it was good to catch up with them. Luckily we had a lift back, as it’s 3 miles each way and R was beginning to suffer again by the end of the evening.
