Hard work

Went for a run as my first exercise of the day, but the main hard work was then removing the front bricks and mortar from this fireplace in the hall. R had decided, after discussing with her sister, that our new flooring, to be fitted next week, should go over the hearth front, so that we may then be able to use that end of the hall as a dining room.
Removing the concrete under the bricks with a chisel was challenging but I did quite a bit , and S will do the rest when he comes tomorrow.
