Democracy Sausage

It’s Federal election day. We voted at Erskineville Town Hall after checking out the sausage offerings at Erskineville public school - and the long queue to vote.

Later I did a quick survey of local polling places and Camdenville public won on variety of sausages (their vegan/vegetarian grill in the extra) plus their menu board. Newtown public had halloumi, egg, tomato relish and chilli oil though. It was hard to choose.

I’m calling it for a clear Labor majority - and I’d really like it if the conservative opposition leader who tried to sing from the Trump playbook lost his seat, but I suspect he’ll hang on. Briefly.

Update: The ABC has called the opposition leader’s seat. He’s lost!
