Wearing purple...

A smoking seagull...

...at King Edward's Bay...

Saw this poster - presumably a spoof - on our walk last night, and filed it away for Silly Saturday...

At first we thought it was aimed at not feeding the gulls, but we think it's an attempt to discourage people from dropping their cigarette butts...

"Radgie" is a Geordie (Newcastle-upon-Tyne) term for someone who is angry, aggressive, or acting in a wild or crazy manner. It can be used in a playful way or as an insult, depending on the context.

A tab is a cigarette, and I'm sure you can work out "Divnt fret pet" for yourself ;)

Two walks so far today - North Shields via the fishquay for coffee this morning, and Gareth's and a walk along the front with Sue and Richard this aft.

Extra is the view down to King Edward's Bay, where I found my blip; and Aeolus coming back into the Tyne yesterday evening - I pictured her leaving last time we were here.
