THE CHAMPION

High school Track & Field meet.  You've seen this fella before in the 110m High Hurdles.  He's smoking...just set the meet record with a run of 14.98 seconds.  The previous record had stood since 2009. On this run, he was two hurdles ahead of the 2nd place runner.  He's the best athlete to come through our school system since I've been there.....59 years. Plus he's smart (National Honor Society) and an all around nice guy.  I had both his parents as students back in the day and his paternal grandfather as well.

He also won the 200m run with a time of 22.62 seconds.  He's heading off to college in the fall where he'll also play football and run track.
