Bala Lake Railway

At this time of the year there are usually great options to watch football in Wales and one of the attractions is the fabulous locations. Today I went to watch third tier football with Llanuwchllyn facing Radnor Valley in the Ardal North East division. Llanuwchllyn is a village at the end of Bala Lake and before the game I went to the station to take a look at the Bala Steam Railway which terminates here. For a change I thought I would post a train picture but I have put a ground photo as an extra to show the location.

With regard to the football Llanuwchllyn won 7-0 with six of the goals in the first half at the opposite end to where I was taking photos.

In other football news Chester will have to travel to Scunthorpe if they manage to win at Kidderminster tomorrow. I think it will be a big ask to win both games but it's not impossible.
