Kidderminster Harriers 1 Chester FC 2

Well that was some afternoon. A brilliant performance from Chester as they came from a goal down to win the play-off semi-final at Kidderminster.

They will now have to win at Scunthorpe in two weeks time to secure a place in the National League but the way they have played in the last two games anything is possible. I was quietly confident before this game and correctly predicted that Chester would win 2-1 and the victory was fully deserved. The atmosphere inside the ground was tremendous and it was definitely one of the best away days for many years given the importance of the match.
