Favourites.

One of my very favourite roads out there is Widdop Road, and Ridehalgh Lane which proceeds it. 

The road is winding, far away from any traffic and basically isolated from civilisation on the whole! 

You work to get up there, especially coming from the side of Widdop, but it's just glorious. I love the climbing element too, it's steep and rugged; so rewarding. 

A super day on two wheels despite a rather cold wind making me regret having summer gloves on!
