Feeding Time

I woke quite early today - actually Ziggy woke me up and I didn't get back to sleep. I then worked in the garden all day except for a couple of dog walks early morning and late afternoon,  and a break of about 40 minutes when I drove into town to get some salad items. 
This blue tit nesting box is on an oak tree and is opposite one of the kitchen windows,  and mum and dad have been feeding frantically lately. This one has just left the box and is on its way to get more food for the youngsters. I like the shadow on the box - its legs can be seen tucking up, just like a plane's undercarriage although it's still only inches from the box. 
I haven't seen anyone to speak to all day and will have an early night as I feel quite tired.
