Garden looking good….

This morning I decided to take a photo of the garden as I’m sure it’s further advanced than usual at the beginning of May. As I thought it was going to be hot again I went to the allotment and planted runner beans, some more sunflower seeds and more Cosmos plus watered .

I had a friend come over for coffee , she is visiting from Grenada where she lives and was a lecturer in Marine biology at the university for at least 10 years,  however they have terminated her contract as I think they want all Grenadians to do the teaching if possible. She has had a house built there and is now understandably worried about income as not many suitable jobs in Grenada. She was hoping to do some consultancy work on environmental projects but Donald Trump had had a detrimental influence on those in that part of the world!

Went over to my daughters for a meal and we watched part of another Harry Potter film!
So chilly on the way home..only 14C.
