A grey morning in Munich followed by travel.

Extra: Now, this is what travel ought to be like: hot food served on porcelain; fresh bread, real cutlery and a Weißbier served in the proper glass. German ICE service at its best.

Extra: Arriving in Hamburg. Original plan was to continue on the sleeper back home; unfortunately our train was cancelled with just two weeks of notice, so we’ll have to travel by day tomorrow. It’s a long trip, and will probably end up a bit gruelling. Hopefully not gruelling enough to spoil a good long-weekend trip to Bavaria.
